Cooperation Between Schools, AMS Poland and Olsztyn–Mazury Airport
On 19 November, representatives of regional schools and universities met at Olsztyn–Mazury Airport together with AMS Poland Sp. z o.o., part of the Poente Technical Group, the designated operator of the future Flight Eco Center in Szymany.
The meeting was held under the framework of the Warmia–Mazury Aviation Career Center, a new initiative designed to support the development of aviation-related skills and prepare young people for technical professions in a rapidly growing industry.
Expanding Partnerships with Local Schools
The event brought together long-standing educational partners of the airport, while several new institutions joined the initiative by signing letters of intent. The cooperation covers student internships, practical training, and participation in aviation-related projects.

Through these partnerships, students will gain access to first-hand industry experience, modern training environments, and a clear pathway toward future employment in the aviation sector.
Flight Eco Center – A Key Regional Investment
The Flight Eco Center will be developed on airport grounds with the support of European Funds for Warmia & Mazury 2021–2027. In its initial phase, the project will create around 150 new technical, engineering, and service positions.
Olsztyn–Mazury Airport is responsible for preparing the infrastructure and constructing the necessary hangars. AMS Poland, as the future operator, will conduct aircraft dismantling and recycling processes in accordance with environmental and industry standards, enabling the reuse of more than 90% of recovered components.
Building the Future Workforce
During the meeting, Nikola Vuković, CEO of Poente Technical group, emphasized the importance of close cooperation with educational institutions to ensure a stable supply of future specialists. He announced the plan to launch a comprehensive training program supported by the European Social Fund, aimed at preparing local students for high-demand aviation careers.

Wiktor Wójcik, CEO of Warmia & Mazury Sp. z o.o., highlighted that this initiative offers young people in the region new educational opportunities, access to modern technical facilities, and a direct path to employment at Flight Eco Center once operations begin.
